The concept of the “No More” lyric video came about initially by following suit with CARYS’ Instagram highlight images – one of them pictured above. Ripped paper, textures, mixed avant-garde colour palette. Most of the colours used on the tape in the final video are actually based on outfit choices in the No More official video.

Drawings and lyrics were written/drawn out using india ink on paper, and then photographed, isolated and imported in to the project.

Textures and ripped paper used in the video were photographed, digitally edited and isolated. Throughout the video, there are about 200 original textures, some of them used more than once.

The final outcome was achieved by animating the drawings and the lyrics to appear as if they are being drawn out, then transition each piece of tape, paper and photo of CARYS in and out of the scene while maneuvering a camera in 3D space.
